The Wisconsin Philharmonic has been bringing people together to enjoy classical music 75 years. Led for 25 years by Maestro Alexander Platt, the Philharmonic’s professionally trained, talented musicians provide an intimate, high-quality music experience for patrons throughout Southeast Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Philharmonic is followed by many music aficionados who are attracted by the caliber of the music and the world-renowned soloists. Supported by civic-minded individuals and businesses, the orchestra plays an important role in the quality of life in Waukesha County and beyond.
Embedded in our community, Wisconsin Philharmonic musicians and staff deliver education programs and clinics in the schools. We also recognize and promote local musicians through competitions, scholarships and masterclasses.
We are a proud member of the Major Orchestra Librarians' Association, League of American Orchestras and the Association of Wisconsin Symphony Orchestras.
